another year!! so much fic!!!! unexpected prolific era!!!

i am not doing a pie chart of fandoms this year because while 2023 was my vaguely multi-fandom (though staggered) era, 2024 was just me being back in my single fandom ways - nice to see that last year i wished to stay with seventeen for a bit and i did!

i'll leave this one outside the cut because it's just so crazy. what do you mean ~63% year over year increase in word count published!!!!!! what happened to me!!! personal best blown out of the water!!

here we are! what an unexpected year in terms of writing but also what a satisfying year!! started 2023 writing fic in french for the first time in 10+ years and ended it by being back in kpop rpf <3 phew, what a ride. 

total number of publish fics: 14 (of which 4 on a sock)
total number of published words: 49,662 words  
fandoms written in: french rap rpf (lmao), narcos, star wars, genshin impact, mdzs, seventeen rpf



shockingly, and also because i didn't expect to get into star wars let alone write for it, star wars takes first place for number of fics! this was a combination of watching the mandalorian s1+s2 and finishing andor late 2022 and suddenly being like "hm, i liked that guy too!" then also obligatory original trilogy + prequels rewatch happened. short-lived from around march to june but it was funnnnnn. and i happily don't have too many leftover abandoned wips that i'll never finish EXCEPT for the jyn/cassian politics au </3 my biggest self disappointment but also yet another reminder that i shouldn't start publishing chaptered fic if it's not finished ugh. but those 2 chapters i did write are amazing, i stand by them!!
